Tottenham’s new stadium is one step closer to opening with a new feature installed at the ground.Progress has been rapid over the past couple of months sorting out the finishing touches on the ‘Tottenham Hotspur Stadium’, with the pitch installed, goalposts put in place, and the iconic Golden Cockerel set on its perch on the south stand.And another small feature was installed earlier this week, with the abseiling ring set high on the outside of the ground.

The skywalk and abseil point were announced early during the development of the stadium, with a club statement reading: “The Tottenham Skywalk is a visitors attraction which will draw visitors to the stadium and Tottenham in addition to the traditional stadium tour.“It offers an alternative experience of a stadium, with an adrenaline funded climb to the apex of the roof, vertigo inducing walk across the polycarbonate roof and unique views of the goal line below concluded with a dramatic abseil to the podium below.”
