KUALA LUMPUR The owners of Premier League champions Manchester City are eyeing a stake in a Malaysian team to accumulate to their portfolio of clubs, a Malaysian sports official revealed yesterday.Ferran Soriano, chief admin overseer of the City Football charity (CFG), bankrolled by Sheikh Mansour of the Abu Dhabi royal family, raised the possibility later than he met Sports Minister Syed Saddiq in Kuala Lumpur upon Thursday.CFG already own or have stakes in Major League Soccer charity additional York City, A-League team Melbourne City, J-League side Yokohama F Marinos, Uruguay's Atletico Torque, recently-relegated Spanish team Girona and Chinese side Sichuan Jiuniu, as capably as City, who are blithe off winning an unprecedented domestic treble in England.
